Abstract:
Light-weight concrete offers many advantages compared to conventional concrete. A special type of light-weight concrete known as Structural Light-Weight Concrete (SLWC) has been comparatively lighter than Conventional Concrete(CC) but strong enough to be employed for structural purposes. Structural lightweight concrete combines the advantages of Convention Concrete and eliminating all the disadvantages. LWA have been prepared by sintering fly ash by crushing the product into appropriate sizes. These aggregates have special characteristics that make them more suitable for high strength and better performance concrete. The dead load of various structural elements can be reduced considerably because the concrete produced by using light weight aggregates (LWA) is lighter by 22% compared to standard aggregate. High performance concrete requires aggregates which hashigh.......Keyword: ...... ×

This paper presents the power flow control in electric power systems by use of an improved steady state mathematical model of unified power flow controller embedded in a power system. The main characteristic of the approach is that an equivalent mathematical model is developed based on the concept of injected powers in which the operational losses can be taken into account. The model is is quite suitable in load flow studies, since it accepts employing conventional techniques such as Newton Raphson method. The model is validated by embedding it in IEEE 14 bus system and then carrying out the load flow studies using MATLAB.The results of load flow analysis show the effectiveness of the model.Keyword: FACTS, UPFC, Power flow analysis ×

Outliers are data which can be considered anomalous due to several causes (e.g. erroneous measurements or anomalous process conditions). Outlier detection techniques are used, for instance, to minimize the influence of outliers in the final model to develop, or as a preliminary pre-processing stage before the information conveyed by a signal is elaborated..The traditional outlier detection methods can be classified into four main approaches: distance-based, density-based, clustering-based and distribution-based. Each of these approaches presents advantages and limitations, thus in the recent years many contributions have been proposed to overcome them and improve the quality of the data. With the arrival of fragmentation era, people's learning methods have changed greatly. Micro-courses have become a very popular learning method for learners, but micro-course are fragmented, which makes it difficult for learners to retrieve the knowledge they need from a large number of learning resources, and the knowledge they learn is scattered and lacking. Without effective organization, it is difficult for learners to learn systematically. As a tool of knowledge management, knowledge map can visually show the location of knowledge points and the relationship between knowledge points. Therefore, this paper puts forward the idea of introducing knowledge map into the junior high school mathematics micro-course resources, constructing the micro-course knowledge retrieval model, it is convenient for learners to find the required knowledge, promoting learners' learning.Keyword: Knowledge Map,Junior High School Mathematics,Micro-course,Knowledge Retrieval. ×

Experiment is carried out at mass averaged mean velocity 40 m/s. The velocity distribution shows the Bulk of flow shifting from inner wall to outer wall in the first bend and third bend of the duct and outer wall to inner wall in the second bend and forth bend of the duct along the flow passage is very instinct. Flow at end of the duct is purely uniform in nature due to non existence of secondary motion. The experimental results then were numerically validated with the help of Fluent, which shows a good agreement between the experimental and predicted results.Keyword: Double-Sduct,Secondary motion,Flow visualization, velocitycontour, Standard k – ε model. ×

Major requirement of the next generation wireless communication systems is to provide higher data rates in transmission of signal in order to meet higher demand of quality services. Multi-User Detection is a field which comprises all aspects related to the detection of mutual users whose received signals are not orthogonal to each other. This generally corresponds to (non orthogonal) CDMA systems, because these systems have a large number of users whose signals overlap in frequency and time. DS-CDMA system is extensively used wireless communication technology. Use of Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum causes MAI (Multiple Access Interference) which in turn affects performance of DS-CDMA system. To distinguish user data in presence of Multiple Access Interference, various Multi-User detection techniques were suggested by different researchers. k-means algorithms are one of the most applied algorithm due to its simplicity and efficiency, k-means algorithm performance are generally good but also has got some limitation, it takes initial cluster centre as an arbitrary data points, number of cluster are given by the user, missing data problem, inefficient with the large data set, various research work has been done to improve efficiency of the k-means algorithms. Our main work to deal with the initial cluster centre problem various research work has been done in this direction but still there is not any global method of the initializing the initial cluster centre or mean of the k-means algorithms, in our work we generate the initial cluster centre by using the idea of M-way tree, this method is efficient as compare to the traditional k-means algorithms.Keyword: Data Mining, Clustering, k-Means, Efficiency, Optimization ×

As the use of internet is increasing the corporate migrating their business from traditional computing to the cloud computing and thus no of user is increasing on cloud & load is also increasing. Thus to provide congestion free and reliable on demand service to client load balancing method is needed. Many algorithms is proposed for load balancing & auto scaling to handle the load .we can use cloud service to make load efficient model in cloud environment. This load efficient model will provide the load balancing, scaling capabilities and monitoring of solutions in the cloud environment. To achieve the above mentioned, we use public cloud services such as amazon's EC2, ELB. This research is divided into four parts such as load balancing, auto-scaling, latency based routing, resource monitoring. We will implement the individual service and test while providing load from external software tool Putty and we will produce the result for efficient load balancing.Keyword: Load Balancing, EC2, Resource Monitoring, Load Optimization, Web Server. ×
