Abstract:
Web mining is an essential part of data mining. Web mining adopts a great part of the data mining mechanisms to discover potentially useful information. Web mining analysis depends on three common set of information such as patterns, shared content and inter-memory association link structure relating to three subsets in web mining namely Web usage mining, Web content mining, Web structure mining respectively. Data grouping or clustering is a standard mechanism for statistical data analysis, which is utilized as a part of numerous fields, consisting machine learning, data mining, pattern recognition, image analysis, and bioinformatics. Clustering or Grouping aims to discover essential structures in data or document and arrange them into vital subgroups for further study and analysis. Existing techniques greedily select the following frequent item set which illustrates the following......Keyword: ESOM, data clustering, Web mining, , image analysis, bioinformatics ×

In this paper we consider large population Leader –follower (L-F) stochastic multi-agent systems where the agents have linear stochastic dynamics and are coupled via their quadratic cost functions. The cost of each leader is based on a trade-off between moving toward a certain reference trajectory which is unknown to the followers and staying near the centroid. On the other hand, followers react by tracking convex combinations of centroid and the centroid of the leaders. Here, as in most practical leader-follower modelling of multi-agent systems, the leaders ignore the followers, but the followers' behaviours are influenced by the leaders. The article is generalised that the cost of collective and the case of collective dynamics which include leaders, followers and an unknown (to the followers) reference trajectory for the leadersKeyword: Mean field game, Leader- Follower, Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) stochastic dynamic game, Likelihood ratio, Nash equilibrium for infinite population system ×

Concrete is a construction materials which is widely used in building and infrastructure around the world. As concrete is a building material it possesses high thermal properties, so the study of concrete is more focus of the physical and mechanical properties rather than thermal properties. Mechanical properties of concrete decrease when subjected to high temperature. Thermal properties are mainly determined by thermal conductivity, specific heat, thermal heat, mass loss. Thermal Conductivity is a crucial factor to measure the ability of material to transfer heat. Heats from the ambience which transferred the building will cause discomfort to the users. The objectives of this study are Evaluate the effect of W/C Ratio on concrete at elevated temperature, the effect of Sand Aggregate Ratio on concrete and also the effect of Fly Ash on concrete.Hot weather can decrease the workability and finish ability that.....Keyword: ..... ×

Reconfigurable hardware such as FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Array) are used since the designers can prefer digital architecture. High performance and reliability are important aspects that are expected in electronic appliances. High speed serial transceivers of FPGA circuitry do not maintain constant chip latency after each power cycle, reset cycle (or) firmware upgrade. These cause phase differences between the recovered signals. To eliminate these phase shift changes in FPGA, a phase measurement logic core having resolution and precision in the range of a few picoseconds is designed..Keyword: .Field programmable gate array(FPGA), phase polarity, synchronization, systematic sampling, XOR- based phase detector. ×

An Analytical model solution is found for a hydraulic structure with depressed foundation and two sheet piles, resting on anisotropic soil media. The solution is developed using Shwartz-Christoffel transformation. The elliptic integrals is used as part of the solution. The anisotropy of the soil media is considered by transforming the anisotropic flow field into a fictitious isotropic using rotation of axis according to the main principle hydraulic conductivity ellipse. In addition to flow field magnification according to the ratio of maximum and minimum hydraulic gradient. The developed analytical solution is found highly compatible with finite difference solution. However in order to achieve the required accuracy for the finite difference solution a small discretization grid is required which make the required computer running time relatively high. For the case of depressed structure without sheet pile the exit gradient variation is........Keyword: ....... ×

A numerical investigation is performed to study the effect of rounding corners on flow and heat transfer characteristics around tandem square cylinders. Two isothermal square cylinders with rounded corners are considered in tandem arrangement in two dimensional unsteady incompressible laminar flow regime. The flow configurations over two equal square cylinders in tandem arrangement are carried out on a finite volume code based commercial software ANSYS FLUENT. The rounded corners have a corner radius of d/4, d is projected width of the square cylinder. The Reynolds number (Re) of the flow is kept constant at 100. In the present computation, the spacing between the two cylinders are kept as 4d, 5d, 6d, 7d, 8d, 9d and 10d. Numerical results are presented in form of streamlines, vorticity contours, isotherm patterns, drag coefficients, Nusselt number and RMS lift. About 19.29 % enhancement in heat transfer is observed.Keyword: Heat transfer; Numerical simulation; Tandem arrangement; Rounded corners; Square Cylinder ×

Hadrons have unique relative biological effectiveness, oxygen enhancement ratio and depth dose profile compared to photons beam. For these biological and physical properties are more favourable than those of photons and may be used to treat tumor systematized. Hadron therapy show many superiority over photons like, delivers higher doses of radiation to the targeted area, spare normal tissue and critical organs. Relative Biological Effectiveness for hadrons depends on multiple factors: LET, beam energy particle nuclear charge (z), target volume and depth, as well as multiple biological factors that influence DNA repair capacity and radiosensitivity in different cellular types and tissues. Nanostructured ZnO powder was prepared using high energy planetary ball mill ( Retsch PM 100) technique.Commercially available ZnO powder was used as starting material for milling. Nanocrystalline ZnO powder samples were prepared at different milling conditions such asmilling speed, milling time interval, ball to powder weight ratio (BPR) and ball size (20mm, 10mm and 5mm diameters).Efforts were made to optimize milling conditions till smallest possible particle size was obtained. The powderswere prepared without using the process control agent (PCA).XRD technique was used to study structural properties of thepowders. X ray peak broadening induced due to change in particle size and strain was analyzed using Debye-Scherrer formula andWilliamson-Hall (W-H) plots. Microstructural study was conducted usingSEM (scanning electron microscopy) technique. The strain, stress and energy density associated with powder particles weredetermined. The FWHM of major peak (101) fromXRD patterns of different the powders were observed to be increasing with decreasing particle size. The results were discussed and interpreted.Keyword: ZnO, High energy planetary ball mill, X ray peak broadening, Williamson-Hall plots,Size-stressstrain- energy density ×

Aggregate production functions, particularly the Cobb-Douglas model have been widely used in modeling input and output relationships in various organisations and at national economic levels. Most commonly used is the two-factor model where all inputs are aggregated as capital and labour factors of production. In this paper, a six-factor Cobb-Douglas model has been fitted to a ten-year production data obtained from a palm-oil producer. By logarithmic transformation, the normal equations obtained from the model were solved by the Least Squares method to obtain the output elasticities. The bootstrapping technique was used to establish their validity. The input components were aggregated and used in the traditional aggregate Cobb-Douglas model to obtain comparative results. For the disaggregated model, the output elasticities for the six input components were......Keyword: Cobb-Douglas Production function, Disaggregated, Return to scale, Output Elasticity, Urn, Bootstrapping. ×

A new clustering algorithm and event-driven cluster head rotation mechanism is proposed to solve the energy balance problem in original RPL (IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low Power and Lossy Networks). Even though energy consumption is reduced and life time increased in this approach, the approach cannot reduce the number of packets transmission. In this work, correlation based adaptive transmission is added to clustering approach, as an extension of the original work, in which the transmission process of a node is controlled. By this way of controlling transmission, the lifetime of sensor can be further enhanced.Experimental results show that in comparison against the original E2HRC, the correlation based energy efficient routing protocol more effectively reduces wireless sensor network energy consumption, thus decreasing both node energy consumption and the number of control messages.Keyword: Clustering, Cluster head rotation, Energy efficiency, Wireless Sensor Networks. ×

sensor nodes are powered by batteries and proper energy conservation is needed to prolong the lifetime of the sensors. This work proposes an approach for improving energy-efficiency and thus increasing network lifetime in wireless sensor network (wsn) using a logical energy tree (let). In our scheme, let is constructed using the remaining available energy in each node. Multiple sink nodes are placed in sensor network and routing of packets from sensor nodes is done using let to the centralized sink or to the closest sink. Multiple sinks are placed in a optimum manner such the number of hops for transmission is reduced and due to it the life time of the network is increased..Keyword: centralized sinkenergy efficiency, wireless sensor networks, energy, lifetime, efficiency ×

This paper proposes electrolytic capacitor (EC) less power factor correction (PFC) light emitting diode (LED) driver with reduced ripple in current. Generally PFC LED drivers need huge electrolytic capacitors to reduce output current ripple. The life-span of LED driver is significantly reduced due to short life-span of electrolytic capacitors, and hence demands for electrolytic capacitors less LED drivers. The proposed method is to attenuate the low frequency ripples delivered from the Power Factor Correction (PFC) to LEDs; therefore, the capacitance is reduced for energy storage of off-line LED drivers. On adoption of the Switching Controlled Capacitor (SCC), the constant frequency control (CFC) is achieved by the regulations of the equivalent capacitance. Halfbridge switches are shared by the bridgeless PFC as well as by resonant unit, therefore, single-stage LED drive is realized with high efficiency. In today's practical Power grid as we all know many generators or power source are working together and to maintain stability between all, the detection and isolation of the sources falling out of synchronism, is of crucial significance as otherwise it would have caused the entire system to fail. Hence various techniques have been developed in industries and power plants (especially solar power plants) to keep all the generators and sources in synchronism with the Power Grid and in case of and failure detect and isolate the failed generator out of the grid and hence maintain a stable operation of the Power System.Keyword: ...... ×

Abstract:
In the last years the demand of fresh water is increasing tremendously all over the world. The future demand will be high and the fresh water resources are getting depleted at a faster rate. Solar still is a very simple device for converting the available brackish water into potable water. The main drawback of passive type solar still is its lower efficiency and distillate output. The usage of PCM enhances the still productivity especially after the sunset. In this work a passive type single basin double slope solar still was fabricated and studied experimentally in two modes 1).Solar still without PCM 2). Solar still with PCM tubes. The water temperature, basin temperature, glass top temperature and PCM tube temperatures were measured periodically. Experimental results indicate that the efficiency of the still is increased by 27.44% with latent heat thermal storage.Keyword: Solar still, Still productivity, Paraffin wax, Phase Change Material, Thermal Energy Storage ×

The surface ozone acts as a secondary pollutant, which depends on regional topography and climate. Ozone (O3) is a reacting oxidant gas produced naturally in trace amounts in the earth's atmosphere. The surface ozone measurement was carried out for the first time for a period of two years from Nov - 2016 to Sep - 2018 at Perumalpuram (8.773N, 77.7E) an urban site of India, which is located at the southern Tamil Nadu. The variation of surface ozone concentration with various meteorological parameters were studied. The seasonal variation was also recorded. From this measurements, it was recorded that the relative humidity shows a negative correlation with surface..........Keyword: Surface ozone, Diurnal variation, Seasonal variation, Air Quality, Meteorological parameters ×

The main objective of this application is to enhance the driver safety, by analyzing the road conditions and driver behavior by using sensors associated with android mobile. This system enhances the driver safety measures by identifying the driver behavior such as follows: (i) the driver wearing seatbelt or not (ii) Monitor the driving condition by using accelerometer connected in mobile phone and (iii) Locating the driver position by means of mobile GPS. This system allows further precedence only if the driver is wearing seat belt or else it produces the alert message like the driver is not wearing seat belt to administrator. In the proposed approach, once the driver entered successfully into the application, it shows the driver/vehicle position and in which direction the driver is proceeding on. As well as, this application is used to trap the location of the driver (vehicle) by using mobile Global Positioning System (GPS). For all the entire system is used to improve the safety measures of driver..Keyword: Android mobile, Driver safety, Global Positioning System, Seatbelt, Vehicle. ×

Capital formations have always been a challenge for the developing country. They are unable to generate sufficient resources over and above their consumption requirement during the initial phases of their economic development. As a result, they look for help from external sources in order to overcome the vicious circle of low capital formation and growth. Even if internal resources are sufficient for the development needs of a country, foreign capital is imminent for importing of improved machinery and technology. So, foreign capital fulfills the twin objectives i.e. generation of capital formation and foreign exchange for developing countries. India, a developing country, whose gross domestic investment is low, requires good amount of foreign capital for its growth and development......Keyword: Capital formations, foreign exchange, FDI, external debt ×
