Abstract:
Cloud computing is defined as a type of computing that relies on sharing computing resources rather than having local servers or personal devices to handle the applications. User can easily modify the shared and stored data in the cloud. To overcome this data modification in cloud the signature is provided to each individual user who accesses the data in cloud. Once the data is modified by the user on a block, the user must ensure that the signature is provided on that specific block. When user misbehaves or misuses the system the admin has authority to revoke that particular user from the group........Keyword: Cloud computing, public Auditor, revoke user. ×

Most of the water treatment plant, filtration is done by means of sand filtration process. Due to continuous filtration process, sand pores get clogged and decreases the efficiency. For mitigating such problem, reverse flow of water & air i.e. backwashing process is carried out. To carry out backwashing operation, 4% of treated water has been utilized and will result in muddy water known as backwash water. This backwash water is then discharged into a natural stream or storage tank near the plant for recirculation. The present study includes a trial for the reuse & recirculation of backwash water. Keywords: Backwash water, Filtration, Reuse & Recirculation ×

In the present world, traffic congestion caused by vehicle is a frustrating problem and it has been growing exponentially. Car parking problem is one of the major contributor for this traffic congestion especially in urban cities. Currently the manual method where in the driver finds the parking area by luck and in most cases it leads to failure, if the driver is in a city with high vehicle density. As an alternative for this we proposed "IOT POWERED PARKING SYSTEM". It mainly aims on deduction of time in finding the parking slots and also it avoids the unnecessary travelling through filled parking slots in a parking area. Thus by decreasing the fuel consumption which in turn reduces carbon elimination in our atmosphere. Keywords: IOT, Raspberry Pi3, HCSR04 sensor, GPS, Smartphone ×

In the recent earthquakes in which many concrete structures have been severely damaged or collapsed, have indicated the need for evaluating the seismic adequacy of existing buildings. About 60% of the land area of our country is susceptible to damaging levels of seismic hazard. We can't avoid future earthquakes, but preparedness and safe building construction practices can certainly reduce the extent of damage and loss. In order to strengthen and resist the buildings for future earthquakes, the behavior of a building during earthquakes depends critically on its overall shape, size and geometry.........Keyword: Pushover analysis, Seismic performance, Performance level, Target displacement, Lateral load patterns. ×

In current software development lifecycles of heterogeneous environments, the pitfalls businesses have to face are that software defect tracking, measurements and quality assurance do not start early enough in the development process. In fact the cost of fixing a defect in a production environment is much higher than in the initial phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which is particularly true for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Thus the aim of this study is to develop a new framework for defect tracking and detection and quality estimation for early stages particularly for the design stage of the SDLC. Part of the objectives of this work is to conceptualize, borrow and customize from known frameworks, such as object-oriented programming to build a solid framework using automated rule based intelligent mechanisms to detect and classify defects in software design of SOA.........Keywords: ............... ×

We identified Kothavalasa T-Intersection has been arise problems like road accidents, conflicts and congestions. Design elements that are particularly important include the number of lanes provided on each approach and for each movement. These problems can solve by providing an efficient traffic signal control at the intersection for continuous movement of vehicles through the intersection. According to traffic signal, most traffic signal timing plans are designed to minimize vehicle delay based on the volumes seen in the past, not the present. It is essential that the structural stability of the aircraft wings is a major consideration in the design of the aircraft. Many studies are being carried out for the design of the wings across the globe by the researches to strengthen the aircraft wings for steady and sturdy structures for dynamic conditions. The design of the aircraft wing using NACA standards is been discussed in this work. The wing analysis is carried out by using computer numerical analysis tool, viz., CAD/CAE and CFD. The necessary inputs for carrying out the structural analysis with emphasis on the vibration are obtained by CFD analysis. The deformation of the wing structures are investigated with respect to the standard airflow velocity. The velocity of air at the inlet is taken as 122 m/s (438 km/h), considering service ceiling of 7625 m at moderate temperature.............Key words: Structural analysis, Modal analysis, CATIA V5R19, CFD ×

The steel studied in this work belongs to the hot working class of tool steels in its applications it is essential that the tool steel have high mechanical strength properties at high temperatures in order to avoid failure due to thermal fatigue, plastic deformation, crack propagation and wear. In high temperature applications the most desirable properties are the hot hardness (Red-Hardness), tempering resistance and fatigue resistance. To meet these requirement alloying elements with strong carbide formation such as Cr, V and Mo are used. The softening resistance of these tool steels is determined by changes suffered by the alloy carbides at high temperature and due to the recovery of the martensitic structure...........Keywords: AISI H13, Alloy Carbides, Heat Treatment, Secondary Hardening, Tool Steel. ×

Industrialisation and population is increasing day by day leading to the increase in the amount of waste plastic. Plastic is a non-biodegradable substance i.e. it is not decomposed by bacteria easily. So, dumping it causes soil pollution which leads to decrease in the fertility of soil. Another way of getting rid of plastic is by burning it, which also produces a lot of harmful gases and leads to increase in air pollution. Soil and air pollution both are harmful for the environment. Waste plastic can be used in bitumen as a modifier. The present study deals with the stress and deformation analysis of thick rotating disks made up of two dimensional functionally graded materials (FGMs) by finite element method. Material properties are distributed according to power law distribution and the disks are subjected to clamped-free boundary condition. Material modeling and finite element modeling for the disk is presented and the resulting deformation and stresses are evaluated. The effect of grading index on the deformation and stresses is investigated and presented. The results obtained show that there is a significant reduction of stresses in two dimensional FGM disks as compared to homogeneous and one dimensional FGM disks. Keywords: Two dimensional functionally graded material, Finite element analysis, Thick rotating disk. ×

In this paper we have presented clock gating process for low power VLSI (very large scale integration) circuit design. Clock gating is one of the most quite often used systems in RTL to shrink dynamic power consumption without affecting the performance of the design. One process involves inserting gating requisites in the RTL, which the synthesis tool translates to clock gating cells in the clock-path of a register bank. This helps to diminish the switching activity on the clock network, thereby decreasing dynamic power consumption within the design. Due to the fact the translation accomplished via the synthesis tool is solely combinational; it is referred to as combinational clock gating. This transformation does not alter the behavior of the register being gated.Key words: Clock Gating, Low Power Design, MUX ×

Smart phones are posed with heat transfer problems due to the space and weight limitation and also due to ever increasing processer speed. In this work, heat transfer in a Xiaomi Mi4i smart phone model has been studied using CFD. Studies at various operating conditions like (i) Basic operation, (ii) Usage of all applications, and (iii) Usage of internet have been considered. Certain hot spots have been identified and solutions to reduce temperature have proposed. Also, a scaled up model of the smart phone has been set up to measure the temperature distribution. It has been found that using copper and aluminium heat spreaders with sufficiently sized and numbered heat taps contributes to reduction in temperatures and thereby would be useful in using the mobile phone with lesser discomfort and yield longer life for the electronic components. Keywords: Smart Phone, Heat Transfer, Heat Spreaders, Heat Taps, Computational Fluid Dynamics ×

Strong waste administration is one of the major natural concerns everywhere throughout the world. Tire-rubber particles made out of tire chips, piece elastic, and a mix of tire chips and scrap elastic, where utilized to supplant mineral totals in cement. These particles were utilized to supplant 10% , 15% , 20%, and 25% of the aggregate mineral totals volume in cement.Using rubber aggregates in such applications can help to prevent pollution and overcome the problem of storing used tyres. Advantages if using rubber aggregates to replace and coarse aggregates is that waste rubber that is expensive to store and is a hazard, can be reused. Keywords: ............ ×

Automatic facial feature extraction is one of the most important and attempted problems in computer vision. It is a necessary step in face recognition, facialimage compression. There are many methods have been proposed in the literature for the facial feature extraction task. However, all of them have still disadvantage such as not complete reflection about face structure, face texture. In this paper, we propose a method for fast and accurate extraction of feature points such as eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows and the like from dynamic images with the purpose of face recognition. These methods are far from satisfactory in terms of extraction accuracy and processing speed. The proposed method achieves high position accuracyatalow computing cost by combinings hape extraction with geometric features off acial images like eyes, nose, mouth etc. In this paper, a facial...Keywords: Facial feature point extraction; face recognition; geometric features ×

A mobile ad-hoc network is a wireless network composed of mobile nodes that are dynamically and randomly located in such a manner that the contact between each other. These nodes do not make a fixed structure because the nodes can move in any direction. These nodes can communicate with other nodes in the radio range. Such networks are often referred to as multi-hope network. These nodes run batteries and have limited stock of energy in nodes can affects the communication activities in wireless network. So, the efficiency of MANET depends not only on its control protocol, but also on its topology and energy management. Clustering is a key routing technique used to reduce energy consumption. The feasibility of a clustering method can be primarily determined by the complexity of the cluster head selection. This is elected as cluster head according to the specific metric or combination of metrics such as mobility, energy, degree, density, weight etc. In this survey paper we study some clustering schemes such as Mobility based clustering, Energy efficient clustering, Load balancing clustering, and Combined-metrics based clustering. Keywords: MANET, Clusters, Cluster Head, Mobility. ×
