Abstract:
Different web mining techniques are available there. Our assignment is to analyze those web mining techniques for Customer Segmentation. We will analyze how efficiently we can keep track the likes, dislikes and feedback of the customers. Accordingly, we can segment by clustering and splitting customers into bunches that are not recently recognized. After identification of the segmented group we can emphasize on that group which is more profitable or we can develop effective market strategy for that group. Then we will propose a web mining technique that can be more beneficial to target the market and to predict the sale. We can build up the system for increasingly beneficial items by distinguishing the most and least gainful customers..Keyword: .... ×

Currently, the modern information society is increasingly demanding research and development in the field of steganography, which is associated with the numerous uses of digital multimedia formats. However, at the same time, there are problems of resource management and copyright for digital files. This raises the urgent task of hiding information within the framework of the network communication infrastructure of Internet participants in the media space. At the initial stage of the research, a state analysis was carried out in the field of steganographic algorithms designed to hide information. Because of this analysis, it was concluded that it is necessary to develop a steganography algorithm that hides large amounts of data in still images of widely used graphic formats. The purpose of the research is to evaluate several steganographic methods and algorithms that embed and hide large amounts of information.Keyword: Steganography, Web Security, User Login System ×

Evaluation of flat plate solar thermal collector daily utilizability for some Nigerian cities has been carried out using monthly average clearness index values estimated from measured daily solar radiation of twelve years data (1975 – 1986). Six study locations which include Abuja, Bauchi, Benin-City, Kano, Lagos and Owerri were selected from each geo-political zone of Nigeria. Utilizability curves were drawn by linear curve fitting of the distribution curves of the monthly average clearness index for each study location. Monthly average clearness index of higher values which are common during the dry season have been shown to yield more utilizability values, indicating the possibility of harvesting more solar radiation in such locations. The utilizability values estimated for each study location may therefore be used for locations with similar meteorological characteristic in the tropics..Keyword: clearness index, cumulative frequency curves, solar thermal collector, solar radiation, utilizability ×

A combined, low cost, fast acting over load and short circuit protection for power transistors with a controllable current level and traced short circuit current is proposed. The fault - either over load or short circuit - current is traced for a selected number of automatic reclosure trials up to eight trials depending on the maximum short circuit pulse time determined by the transistor manufacturer. The proposed automatic reclosure trials are intended to bypass any transient overloads. The proposed circuit was tested in a DC -to- DC converter and showed excellent response and gave reliable protection of the power transistor..Keyword: DC choppers, protection, short circuit. ×

Our present approach to architectural design is cosmetic. We are more obsessed with visual impact and less with needs and functions. Our design manifestations are nothing but a celebration of technology. The spaces we create have no soul. We try to justify them after they have been created. This paper calls for a paradigm shift in the way we approach our design interventions. Our spaces should be created based on the activities we are supposed to perform in them. Our activities should be based on circadian rhythms and chronobiology. Tangibly and intangibly our main source of energy is the sun. Our entire biological clock is synergetic with the earth's orbit and the position of the earth relative to the sun. A correlation matrix is sought to be established between the position of the earth, human circadian rhythms, chronobiology, proposed activities and climate. It is argued that if our architectural expressions.....Keyword: Circadian rhythms and chronobiology. ×

In the present study, the fiberglass is widely used in many applications as manufacturing tools and automotive. Due to its chemical resistivity and good mechanical properties compared with metals; the fiberglass is extensively used in automobile industry in components and body kits. Development of fiber glass containments as fiber diameter and position angle is essentially in order to enhance the mechanical properties and to have a long life time. The tensile strength, impact strength, density, and hardness were found affected by the fiber position and fiber diameter in the epoxy matrix. As increasing the fiber diameter; the hardness and the impact strength will be increased, however; the tensile strength will be decreased.Keyword: glass fiber, epoxy resin, fiber glass, fiber position, fiber diameter, composite material, mechanical properties, automotive, manufacturing tools.. ×

In OFDM systems Channel coding plays a very important role. Channel coding along with frequency and time interleaving, provides a link between bits which are transmitted on separate carriers of the signal spectrum, in such a manner that the message conveyed can be easily reconstructed by faded carriers. Security in the wireless network is a critical issue. By most wireless and wired communication standards Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is the most reliable modulation technique which has been adopted. In this paper the objective is to carry out an efficient implementation of the OFDM system using different combinations of Encryption and compression algorithm for the energy optimization on data transmission is carried out. Due to the concerning reduction in freshwater resources in many parts of the world and necessity of using saline water, the solar distillers have gained importance considering solar energy as a clean and cost-effective resource. In this study, the performance of a modified simple hemispherical solar still was theoretically and experimentally assessed under the outdoor conditions of Mashhad, Iran (latitude of 36 18 0 ; longitude of59 34 0 ). After performing several experimental tests, the daily distilled water output from the still was observed to range between 2.72 and 3.17 Lit/day. Comparing experimental results with the results obtained by modeling of the still, it was revealed that Clark's model, among all the common thermal models to predict the performance of solar stills, was more consistent with experimental data. Furthermore, the modeling results indicated that the efficiency of the still....Keyword: hemispherical solar still; mathematical modeling; experimental study; glass cover thickness; insulation. ×

Groundwater is an important source of domestic water supply, agriculture and industries. In the absence of fresh surface water resources, groundwater is exploited to meet the demand exerted by various sectors. Large scale industrial growth has caused serious concern regarding the susceptibility of ground water contamination due to waste materials. There is lack of proper monitoring and enforcement on gorund water quality. To minimize the effect of industrial discharge on ground water, wastewater should be treated before disposal. Water quality management is an issue that must be given top priority. Hence, there is need for environmental education, adequate regulations and proper management of industrial wastewater. In this review paper, an attempt is being made to collate and compile the research papers on ground water pollution due to industrial effluents, heavy metals, groundwater quality, statistical analysis, water quality index and models to assess vulnerability of ground water are presented..Keyword: Ground water, Industrial effluent, Water quality, Vulnerability, Statistical analysis. ×

The world population is constantly increasing. As a result, the demand for housing consequently increases. In order to meet this demand, fast, efficient, economical and clean construction methods are sought, since a large part of solid urban waste comes from civil construction. Thus, civil construction is one of the industries responsible for current environmental problems and it is necessary to propose actions to mitigate these problems. The present research presents a comparative analysis between the conventional construction system using ceramic blocks and a constructive system also of ceramic blocks with rationalized patterns for popular housing projects, showing its advantages and disadvantages in relation to the conventional system. The construction processes of this rationalized system were raised, avoiding the waste of materials for the nongeneration of waste. This construction system has a streamlined execution process, with high productivity, continuous and repetitive execution. Due to its characteristics, the construction method studied collaborates with a quick execution and brings cost reduction and environmental impacts..Keyword: Ceramic blocks, Clean construction, Construction system, Rationalized system ×

Abstract:
Although establishing correct and efficient routes is an important design issue in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), a more challenging goal is to provide energy efficient routes because mobile nodes' operation time is the most critical limiting factor. This article surveys and classifies the energy-aware routing protocols proposed for MANETs. They minimize either the active communication energy required to transmit or receive packets or the inactive energy consumed when a mobile node stays idle but listens to the wireless medium for any possible communication requests from other nodes. In this paper five different types of routing protocols are compared. Number of alive nodes and the residual energy is obtained by using different protocols. The simulation results indicate that PEGASIS outperforms other clustering based routing algorithms under the scenario. The performance is simulated using Matlab tool.Keyword: WSN, MANETS, LEACH, TEAR, PEGASIS. ×

Photovoltaic panels make it possible to transform solar radiation into electrical energy and thermal energy in the form of heat, and this through photovoltaic cells. The disadvantage of a conventional photovoltaic cell is that its performance decreases as the temperature increases. Indeed, part of the solar radiation is not converted into electricity and dissipates in the form of heat which increases the temperature of the cell relative to the ambient temperature. The article sums up current methods for calculating energy consumption for the purpose of heating residential units in multi-apartment buildings. The article identifies the errors caused by overlooking the phenomenon of heat gains from in-house heat distribution systems and the transfer of energy between adjacent apartments. Nodal analysis, a method used in electrical engineering, is used to determine the consumption of energy for the purpose of heating the apartments. The heat flux exchanged between adjacent apartments with different indoor temperatures was calculated for the studied building. For this purpose, a classic method was used, based on correlations including the design coefficients for heat loss due to heat transfer through inner walls, temperature differences and the duration of the heating season. The results obtained were compared with the results of calculations conducted using an original method based on the actual consumption of energy in the building. .Keyword: allocation of heating energy, heat cost allocator, heat transfer through walls, heat gains from pipes ×

In this paper a study of the directive gain enhancement obtained using a dielectric lens placed in the near field of radiating elements is discussed. The design and results of a single element patch antenna along with hemispherical and spherical lens radiating in rectangular and square antenna are detailed. The design is done using HFSS, which is used for the primary radiator-lens combination. Lenses reduce the size of the composite antenna while providing sufficient collimation comparable to a much larger array of apertures without compromising on the bandwidth. The results obtained are compared in terms of directivity, VSWR, impedance and return loss. The microstrip patch antenna is designed to resonate at a frequency of 5.5GHz (5.35GHz- 5.5GHz) for rectangular patch and frequency of 4.35GHz (4.35GHz-4.5GHz) for square patch with FR4 substrate..Keyword: Microstrip patch antenna, Finite element method, Dielectric Lens, HFSS ×

In this work it is described a method to determine the quality of a milk blend product based on fuzzy logic. The method classifythe quality of the product as bad, regular, acceptable, good and excellent based oneight input variables. Moreover, these variables are qualitative and quantitative with different value ranges, which generate a quite large number of possible combinationscomplicating the decision making process for determining the quality of the milk. The large number of combinations induces that the quality diagnostic generates not homogeneous diagnostics since the appreciation of each quality inspector induces to have different quality classification. This implies that one sample can have different quality levels depending on the analyst, which mean a vulnerability for the company....Keyword: Quality Assessment, Fuzzy Logic, Food Industry. ×
