Abstract:
This article investigated the reasons for changes in rainfall over the years. It was revealed that the change in the rate of rotation in regard to the Earth's atmosphere can wag to the distribution of rainfall. As subtropical and polar regions of the Northern Hemisphere are influenced by synoptic processes, the speed of the atmosphere often here exceeds the speed of the Earth. Therefore, in these regions the difference in rainfall is 400 - 500 mm or more over the years. In this regard, the paper analyzes the effects of atmospheric forces on the speed of movement and shows the direction of the actions. As a result, by the help of harmonic analysis the distribution of rainfall for a 60 year period was evaluated. For the cycle of the years 1900-2009 the range of precipitation fluctuations was analysed with the use of Shuster's Method, which detected periods and divided them into harmonious ranges. At the end, distribution graphic was compiled, based on defined Fourier coefficients.
According this graphic its possible to forecast precipitation distribution of Lankaran Region for next 50 years and, based on ths, it is possible to forecast meteorological drought. Based on this calculation, in the 40 years after 2018 precipitation will decrease. The method employed here can be used for each region of the world.

Printing pastes containing eco-friendly galactomannan gum and safety natural dye were isolated simultaneously in one step process from tara plant seeds using sodium hydroxide solution. The effect of concentrations of sodium hydroxide on the rheological properties of the isolated printing pastes were thoroughly investigated. Technological evaluation of the obtained pastes to act as screen printing paste and burn-out style paste to be used in printing five different blends as well as pure wool was achieved. The results were evaluated via measuring the % loss in weight, K/S of the coloured area and tensile strength for the printed area. The results obtained reviles that all the isolated pastes are characterized by non-Newtonian pseudoplastic behaviour, and its apparent viscosity depends on the concentration of sodium hydroxide and also on the time of storing. The prepared pastes could be used successfully as a screen printing paste and burn-out paste simultaneously. The % loss in weight increases by increasing sodium hydroxide concentration and/or the portion of wool in the blend. The K/S of the printed area depends on the nature of the component of the blend and higher on protenic fabrics than that of cellulosic.
Unique colour and attractive texture could be achieved using the current technique. It is also found that as the concentration of sodium hydroxide increases, the % loss in tensile strength increases specially for woolen blends, however the decreases is not high and satisfactory for industrial application.

A model related to Van der Poloscillatoris considered to study under an external stochastic excitation described by white noise process. This study is limited to find the Gaussian behavior of the stochastic solution processes related to the model. Under the application of Wiener-Hermite expansion, a deterministic system is generated to describe the Gaussian solution parameters (Mean and Variance). The deterministic system solution is approximated due to applying the multi-step differential transformed method and its results are compared with ND Solve Mathematica 10 package. Some case studies are considered to illustrate some comparisons for the obtained results related to the Gaussian behavior parameters. Keywords: Wiener-Hermite expansion; Multi-step differential transformed method; ND Solve Mathematica 10 ×

Now-a-days glass fiber-reinforced plastics (GFRP) are always applicable in variety of engineering applications. It is used in aerospace, automotive and aircraft industries due to their well known properties. Milling of GFRP composite materials is very difficult due to its heterogeneity and the number of troubles like as surface delamination during machining affects uniqueness of the material and the machining parameters. Present paper focuses the experimental details to find out delamination factor on GFRP composite laminates by using Taguchi‟s DOE L9 orthogonal array. The main objective of the present work is to optimize the process parameters in the drilling of GFRP composite using Taguchi DOE and to find the significance of each process parameter using ANOVA. As far as the effect of input factors are considered, the factors drilled material and spindle speed both have nearly predominant influence on the delamination factor of drilled holes on GFRP composite by using CNC milling process. Keywords:ANOVA, CNC Milling, GFRP Composite, Surface Roughness, Taguchi DOE. ×

An experimental study was conducted to investigate two-phase air-water flow characteristics, in horizontal rectangular minichannel with Y-junction. The width (W), the height(H) and the hydraulic diameter (DH) of the rectangular cross section for the upstream side of the junction are 4.60 mm, 2.50 mm and 3.24 mm, while those for the downstream side are 2.36 mm, 2.50 mm and 2.43 mm. The entire test section was machined from transparent acrylic block, so that the flow structure could be visualized. Liquid single-phase and air-liquid twophase flow experiments were conducted at room temperature. The flow pattern, the bubble velocity, the bubble length, and the void fraction were measured with a high-speed video camera. Pressure profile upstream and downstream from the junction was also measured for the respective flows, and the pressure loss due to the contraction at the junction was determined from the pressure profiles. Two flow patterns, i.e., slug and annular flows, were observed in the fully-developed region apart from the junction. In the analysis, the frictional pressure drop data, the two-phase frictional multiplier data, bubble velocity data, bubble length data and void fraction data were compared with calculations by some correlations in literatures. In addition, new pressure loss coefficient correlations for the pressure drop at the junction has been proposed. Results of such experiment and analysis are described in the present paper.Keywords-Minichannel, two-phase flow, Y-junction, bubble velocity, bubble length ×

Groundwater is of most important to rural development in many countries of the world. Over exploitation of groundwater has become a major challenge not only to the present civilization and also for the future generations. The main focus of this study is to assess the suitability of groundwater quality for drinking and irrigation purposes in vicinity of Rasipuram block in Tamil Nadu. Groundwater samples from 15 locations were collected from different wells during January 2015 and analyzed for different physico-chemical parameters. The usefulness of these parameters in predicting groundwater quality characteristics were discussed. The quality of groundwater in the study area is fresh to brackish water, moderately hard to very hard in nature. The piper plot shows that the most of the groundwater samples fall in the field of Na+-Cl- and mixed Ca++-Na+-Cl- type. Water quality index rating was carried out to quantify overall groundwater quality status of the area. The WQI for these samples ranges from 37.34 to 650. Hence majority of the water samples are poor to very poor in water quality. The area in general is characterized by hard water, hence is not suitable for drinking purpose. The samples plotted in the piper and USSL diagram were used to understand the chemical characteristic of groundwater for irrigation purposes. However, the values of SAR, Na% and RSC indicate that groundwater is suitable for irrigation purposes. Overall water quality of the study area was found satisfactory for drinking purpose except in few locations and suitable for irrigation purpose. Hence the local government needs to initiate remedial measures. Keywords - Physiochemical characteristics, WQI, suitability drinking and irrigation, Rasipuram taluk. ×

In this paper a high efficient photovoltaic system is proposed for onboard ship applications which convert the lower voltage obtained from solar modules to higher voltage required by the ship service loads. In a typical photovoltaic system only step-up /boost converter is used due to which the converter has to operate in extreme duty ratio, resulting in increase of switching losses and thus decreasing the overall efficiency. But in this paper the conventional boost converter is used with interleaved inductors and capacitors. The poposed system stores the energy in inductors and thus reduces the stress in the switches (Without allowing the total voltage to appear across the switch). The simulation is designed using MATLAB/Simulink with an Input voltage of 40-V to achieve a output voltage of 300-380 V. The developed simulation results are compared for output powers of 500W and 1kW.Keywords - Photovoltaic system, renewable energy sources, interleaved boost converter, voltage multiplier ×

The continuous increasing demand of food crops and decrease in productivity due to continuous use of chemical fertilizer has not only resulted in decline of crop yield, loss of fertility and degradation of soil but has also led us one step back in achieving sustainable agriculture. The use of algal bio-fertilizer provides an effective, ecofriendly and non-polluting approach in improving the productivity of crop by both nitrogen fixation and photosynthesis. Algal bio-fertilizers improve soil structure and increase yield productivity even if applied in a small area. The application of algal bio-fertilizers in plants has resulted in increase in root, shoot length with number of leaves and hence overall growth of the plant has been increased. India being one of the largest producer and consumer of pulses requires abundant amount of pulse production to fulfil the demands of ever growing populations which can be achieved by using algal bio-fertilizers. The development of new fibrous composites with specific properties has attracted a big interest in the development of new technologies. One of the biggest problems in this area is the improvement of the fiber/matrix interface to increase the mechanical properties in the final composite. In this work, surface chemical modifications of the rice husk (by-product of the rice industry) were carried out to achieve a better compatibility with diverse polymeric matrices. These modifications include the use of three different silanes: 3- (trimethoxysilyl) propyl methacrylate (TMS), dichlorodimethylsilane (DDS) and trichlorovinylsilane (TVS). The natural fibers and their changes after each treatment were studied experimentally by Fourier Transformed Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). This experimental spectroscopic information was compared with a theoretical analysis of molecular vibrations using the HyperChem Release 7.0 software as molecular modeling tool. The result of this comparison confirmed the chemical modification. It was concluded that the chemical modification was carried out and after an experimental spectroscopic analysis (FTIR) the molecular vibrations data were agree with those calculated by theoretical analysis being verified in this way the chemical modification of the rice-husk fiber surface. Keywords: Silane, Hyper Chem, Rice Husk, Cellulose. ×

The cost approach to Valuation is one of the primary methods of valuation adopted in Nigeria by valuers in solving industrial valuation problems. The method is based on the principles of contribution and substitution. Generally, lacks of data, insecurity and instability in the Nigerian economy have made other models relatively, inapplicable in Nigeria situation. Hence majority of the valuations done in Nigeria adopts the cost approach. With recent focus of the world on environment, this paper tries to evaluate the level of compliance of this model to the provisions of the National Environmental Protection (Pollution Abatement in Industries and Facilities Generating Waste) Regulations of 1991, since Estate Surveyors and Valuers are expected to play their role as environmental protection advocates. The study adopted the survey research method and data was generated using an evaluation checklist. The hypothesis developed was tested using the student "t" test and it was discovered that that Cost approach to valuation does not comply with the provisions of the National Environmental Protection (Pollution Abatement in Industries and Facilities Generating Waste) Regulation of 1991. The study recommended among other things that the model should be used with caution if Estate Surveyors and Valuers in Nigeria will continue to play their role as Environmental Protection advocates.KEY WORDS:Valuation, Pollution, Cost Approach, Environmental, Protection, Evaluation, Industries. ×

This paper presents a study of MHD free convection flow of an electrically conducting incompressible fluid with variable viscosity about an isothermal truncated cone in the presence of heat generation or absorption. The fluid viscosity is assumed to vary as a inverse linear function of temperature. The non-linear coupled partial differential equations governing the flow and heat transfer have been solved numerically by using an implicit finite - difference scheme along with quasilinearization technique. The non-similar solutions have been obtained for the problem, overcoming numerical difficulties near the leading edge and in the downstream regime. Results indicate that skin friction and heat transfer are strongly affected by, both, viscosity-variation parameter and magnetic field. In fact, the transverse magnetic field influences the momentum and thermal fields, considerably. Further, skin friction is found to decrease and heat transfer increases near the leading edge. Also, it is found that the direction of heat transfer gets reversed during heat generation. Keywords - Variable viscosity, MHD, Free convection, Skin friction, Heat transfer, Truncated cone. ×

Plant disease identification is the most important sector in agriculture. Turmeric is one of the important rhizomatous crops grown in India. The turmeric leaf is highly exposed to diseases like rhizome rot, leaf spot, and leaf blotch. The identification of plant diseases requires close monitoring and hence this paper adopts technologies to manage turmeric plant diseases caused by fungi to enable production of high quality crop yields. Various image processing and machine learning techniques are used to identify and classify the diseases in turmeric leaf. The dataset with 800 leaf images of different categories were pre-processed and segmented to promote efficient feature extraction. Machine learning algorithms like support vector machine, decision tree and naïve bayes were applied to train the model. The performance of the model was evaluated using 10 fold cross validation and the results are reported. Keywords:Machine Learning; Segmentation; Leaf disease; Turmeric. ×

A needle roller bearing is a bearing which uses small cylindrical rollers. Bearings are used to reduce friction of any rotating surface. Needle bearings have a large surface in contact with the bearing outer surfaces as compared to ball bearings. There is less added clearance(Diameter of the shaft and the diameter of the bearing are different) so they are much compact. The structure consists of a needle cage which contains the needle rollersthemselves and an outer race (The housing itself). Radial bearings are cylindrical and they use rollers parallel to the axis of the shaft. Radial pattern of needle are being used by thrust needles. Complement bearings have solid inner as well as outer rings and rib-guided cylindrical rollers. The bearings have the largest number of rolling elements and also have extremely high radial load carrying capacity and are suitable for compact designs.Needle roller bearings have relatively small diameter cylindrical rolling elements whose length is much larger than their diameter. As compared to other types of rolling bearings, needle roller bearings possess a small cross-sectional height and significant load-bearing capacity and rigidity relative to their volume. Also, because the inertial force acting on them is limited, needle bearings are an ideal choice for applications with oscillating motion. These bearings also work well in compact and lightweight machine designs and they serve as a ready replacement for sliding bearings. Needle bearings features are great rigidity, smaller cross-section, higher loadcarrying capacity, and has lower inertia forces that facilitate to size and weight reductions in machinery. Needle bearings are designed to stand in oscillation, performwell under any conditions, and interchange with the sliding of bearings. Keywords: programmable logic control, human machine interface, grinding machine, analog to digital ×

In this paper a general fuzzy maximal flow problem is discussed . A crisp maximal flow problem can be solved in two methods : linear programming modeling and maximal flow algorithm . Here I tried to fuzzify the maximal flow algorithm using octagonal fuzzy numbers introduced by S.U Malini and Felbin .C. kennedy [26]. By ranking the octagonal fuzzy numbers it is possible to compare them and using this we convert the fuzzy valued maximal flow algorithm to a crisp valued algorithm . It is proved that a better solution is obtained when it is solved using fuzzy octagonal number than when it is solved using trapezoidal fuzzy number . To illustrate this a numerical example is solved and the obtained result is compared with the existing results . If there is no uncertainty about the flow between source and sink then the proposed algorithm gives the same result as in crisp maximal flow problems. Keywords:Fuzzy maximal flow problem , ranking functions , Octagonal fuzzy Number ×

We study the spatially homogeneous anisotropic Bianchi type-V universe in f(R,T) theory of gravity, where R is the Ricci scalar and T is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor. We assume the variation law of mean Hubble parameter and constant deceleration parameter to find two different five dimensional exact solutions of the modified field equations. The first solution yields a singular model for n 0 while the second gives a nonsingular model for n 0. This study describes the development and experimental studies performed to investigate the performance of a 1.5 m long Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine blade on a 4meter tower using 8o as an angle of attack. The blade was design using the Blade Element Momentum Theory (BEM), blade parameters such as the chord length, angle of attack, Tip Speed Ratio, Rotor diameter, Lift and Drag force were determined. The designed blade profile was developed and tested on an open field at Maiduguri where the average wind speed is 3.89m/s, the result shows that the maximum extractable power is 142.66 W at a wind relative velocity of 4.8m/s when the blade is at 8o angle of attack and 3 x 106 Reynolds Number. However, measured power increase consistently with increased in wind speed. Therefore the developed HAWT blade profile has shown the ability to perform thus, the blade is expected to be a means of extracting and generating energy from wind which is a renewable, clean and locally available source of energy in Maiduguri and its environs. The use of this energy source will reduce the large dependence on non-renewable, expensive and environmentally unfriendly means of energy generation. Keywords:BEM, Performance Test, Turbine Blade, Chord Length, Relative Angle ×

The grape is one of the major important fruit crop of the Maharashtra. The high input used crop gives more profit through export as foreign exchange. However, at present, the input in the form of fertilizer (Nitrogen) requirement is being worked out through laboratory analysis in the specified range. In the present study, the soil samples are collected from different vineyards of the Maharashtra state and also from Karnataka. To decide the actual requirement of nitrogen, the Fuzzy Information System (FIS) is developed. The data obtained from the analysis of soil testing report from the laboratory isused for FIS and result is compared with the results of Fuzzy InferenceSystem. It is found that the nitrogen requirement of any grape garden is lessthan the laboratory suggestions. This can help to reduce the cost of production without affecting the yield level of the grape garden and to maintain the soil quality. User Image sharing social site maintaining privacy has become a major problem, as demonstrated by a recent wave of publicized incidents where users inadvertently shared personal information. In light of these incidents, the need of tools to help users control access to their shared content is apparent. Toward addressing this need an Adaptive Privacy Policy Prediction (A3P) system to help users compose privacy settings for their images. The solution relies on an image classification framework for image categories which may be associated with similar policies and on a policy prediction algorithm to automatically generate a policy for each newly uploaded image, also according to user's social features. Image Sharing takes place both among previously established groups of known people or social circles and also increasingly with people outside the users social circles, for purposes of social discovery-to help them identify new peers and learn about peers interests and social surroundings, Sharing images within online content sharing sites, therefore, may quickly lead to unwanted disclosure. The aggregated information can result in unexpected exposure of one's social environment and lead to abuse of one's personal information. Keywords: Adaptive Privacy Policy Prediction (A3P), A3P- Core, A3P- Social, Polar Fourier Transform ×

Abstract:
People share their views about products and services over social media, blogs, forums etc. If someone is willing to spend resources and money over these products and services will definitely learn about them from the past experiences of their peers. Opinion mining plays vital role in knowing increasing interests of a particular community, social and political events, making business strategies, marketing campaigns etc. This data is in unstructured form over internet but analyzed properly can be of great use. Sentiment analysis focuses on polarity detection of emotions like happy, sad or neutral. In this paper we proposed an algorithm i.e. Senti Audio Visual for examining Video as well as Audio sentiments. A review in the form of video/audio may contain several opinions/emotions, this algorithm will classify the reviews with the help of Baye's Classifiers to three different classes i.e., positive, negative or neutral. The algorithm will use smiles, cries, gazes, pauses, pitch, and intensity as relevant Audio Visual features.

The Vehicular Ad-hoc Network is a novel technology. It has the property of higher node mobility. Vehicular Adhoc networks offer wireless communications between vehicles themselves (V2V) and between vehicles to the roadside units (V2R). The VANET is an active research area, as it has great prospective to enhance the road and vehicle safety, efficiency of traffic. Vehicular Ad-hoc Network not only just provides the safety applications, but also provides communication to the users. The QoS support in VANET is a challenge when the existing routing paths become no longer are available as a result of changes in the velocity and position of node, and distance between the vehicular nodes or network topology. In this study we designed a framework which provides us the facility to enhance various Quality of Service parameters, such as End to End Delay, throughput and packet loss ratio etc. The proposed model uses layered approach, deep classification as existed QoS components are further broken down and provides Quality of Experience to the users. NCTUns is used as simulation tool to build up simulations. After getting the results of simulation we carried out the performance analysis of various routing protocols. Web Mining has gained prominence over the last decade. This rise is concomitant with the upsurge of pure players, the multiple challenges of data deluge, the trend toward automation and integration within organization, as well as a desire for hyper segmentation. Confronted, partly or totally, with these multiple issues, companies recourse increasingly to replicate the data mining toolbox on web data. Although much is known about the technical aspect of WM, little is known about the extent to which WM actually fits within a customer relationship management system, designed at attracting and retaining the maximum amount of customers. An exploratory study involving twelve senior professionals and scholars indicated that WM is well-suited to achieve most of the customer relationship management objective, with regards to the profiling of existing web customers. The results of this study suggest that the engineering of WM processes into analytic customer relationship management systems, may yield highly beneficial returns, provided that some guidelines are scrupulously followed. Keywords: Web mining, analytical customer relationship management, segmentation, data mining, profiling ×

The shortage of ICT professionals in Thai workforce has been appeared in spite of many ICT-related programs offering in universities across Thailand. The statistics show that a promoting of new ICT-related programs, modified by CS program, is stealing students from CS program. Thus, CS enrollment decline as well as students' dropping outs are problems facing in every Thai universities. This paper reports on a study in which 10 people who are the representative of ICT graduates' users were interviewed and 702 freshmen who took in the introductory computer course were surveyed to try to determine the relationship of CS enrollment and ICT professionals and the factors contributing to decline in CS enrollments. The results revealed that most of ICT professionals were developed from CS background. The top reasons for rejecting the CS major, were its' difficulties and students' desire to use IT as an application, instead of a construction. These were their weakness in programming and technical work, but the reasons for choosing the CS major were opposite. Finally, this paper proposes a revitalization of the CS education framework to reverse the trend of CS enrollment decline. Keywords–Computer Science, Education, Revitalization, Enrollment Decline, ICT Education ×

The goal of this survey is to contribute to a better understanding of the distribution of the rainfall on the plateau of Allada in Benin. The plateau of Allada is the garner ofCotonou and vicinities. The food production is over 62% rainfed. Then, it imports to analyze the way how rains are spatially distributed on the area in order to deduct the potential rainfall. To achieve this goal, rainfall data of 28 stations have been used. Three sub-periods have been identified: 1996-2000, 2001-2005 and 2006-2010. The distribution of rainfall has been established with Thiessen and kriging methods. On average, 1117mm of rain fell on the study area per year. But three tendencies were shown: the less rainy zones, the fairly rainy zones, and the greatly rainy zones. All the rainfall zones knew an increase of the precipitations except Abomey-Calavi and Niaouli. But the variations are not significant. While analyzing the spatial structure for the kriging of precipitations, it was revealed a power model of variogram. The direction of the rainfall gradient is oriented southeast - northwest during the three sub-periods. Abomey-Calavi recorded the weakest precipitations. The strongest values are interchanged between Toffo and Sékou, Ouidah- North and Ouidah-City.Keywords-Rainfall gradient, South Benin, spatial structure, variogram. ×

Ultrasonic technique is widely accepted as a characterizing tool because of its non destructive nature. Great technical advancement in ultrasonic apparatuses over the last few years has permitted their increased use. In the present work, an attempt has been made to develop an ultrasonic pulser receiver for pulse echo technique which gives pulsed RF of desired frequency on selection from PC without shifting to another oscillator. A microcontroller (ATMega16) controlled oscillator generates required frequencies on receiving a command. A pulse repetition frequency (PRF) is generated by microcontroller in such a way to give fixed number of RF cycles for each selected frequency. The receiver section receives the echoes from the same transducer, rectifies and amplifies it and is projected to oscilloscope for further study. In this system, 4 pieces of sensors placed on the vest's front, ground and right-left arms warn the impaired person when less than 150 cm distance remains between the visually impaired and the obstacle. The microprocessor sends signal to the vibration motor which is placed in the direction where the obstacle is situated. With the decrease of the distance the vibration increases so that the person can understand how far and in which direction the obstacle is. This review paper aims towards the optimization of CNC turning operation when used over an OHNS material. The lathe machine was chosen because of its widespread availability and its ability to perform various tasks without much change in its structure. Also using lathe machines is very cheap and hence it is beneficial from economic point of view as well. The turning operation was specifically chosen because of the various advantages that it offers. It can be used for machining a large variety of materials and it is cheaper than milling. OHNS (Oil Hardened Non Shrinking) tool was chosen due to its hardness. These materials are used only for dies so it was chosen so that its industrial usage could be exploited. To comprehend the usage, all the input and output parameters that could affect the machining process, namely input parameters like feed, cutting conditions, speed, etc. and output parameters like surface roughness, surface finish, material removal rate were analyzed using the researches that had already been done on CNC turning. After careful study of a variety of research papers on this topic, it was decided that several input as well as the output parameters would be considered which included feed, depth of cut and cutting speed were taken as the input parameters whereas Material Removal Rate (MRR) and surface finish were taken as the output parameters. From the results of the research papers, it was concluded that feed, depth of cut and cutting speed could be chosen as input parameters whereas MRR and surface finish would be the output parameters. Keywords–OHNS, CNC, ×

In many industrial, medical and scientific image processing applications, various feature and pattern recognition techniques are used to match specific features in an image with a known template. Despite the capabilities of these techniques, some applications require simultaneous analysis of multiple, complex, and irregular features within an image as in semiconductor wafer inspection. In wafer inspection discovered defects are often complex and irregular and demand more human-like inspection techniques to recognize irregularities. By incorporating neural network techniques such image processing systems with much number of images can be trained until the system eventually learns to recognize irregularities. The aim of this project is to develop a framework of a machine-learning system that can classify objects of different category. The framework utilizes the toolboxes in the Matlab such as Computer Vision Toolbox, Neural Network Toolbox etc. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Learning, Bag of words, Scale Invariant ×

With a very swift development in urban areas the framed structures which are infilled by brick masonry or concrete blocks are widely used as partition walls and also exterior walls. Masonry infill walls are common element in structural system which modifies the conduction of building under the lateral load. These structures resist the moderate earthquakes and accomplish well in such a prime manner that even if they have no load bearing function. Evidently, during the time of resolution of such a multi-storey structure, the infilled frame is considered as bare frame, because IS codes do not provide any guide lines for the analysis and design of RC frames with infill wall. This paper addresses the numerical study of G+10 RC flat plate framed building with different cases i.e, soft story at ground level (Basement), with soft story at 5th floor level, without soft storey and bare frame building by using ETABS as soft computing tool. All these cases are analyzed for equivalent static method and Response spectrum method. By this, dynamic properties are evaluated and according to the results obtained conclusions are drawn. Keywords –Masonry, soft story, infilled, dynamic, partition. ×

The apps consist of advertisements to promote their products. Not all of them are appropriate to resume. Therefore various algorithms have been used in order to block those apps from existence but none of them is completely successful. In our app we are using an antivirus which can by default block those spy apps and remove them from the web page. The algorithm which has been used makes use of various ant viruses in the background which detect irrelevant and intimate apps and then our algorithm will demolish them.Certain apps are non-trustworthy where one click can spy all the mobile data. They block those apps and works on security. We are working on secure ads for mobile apps. It can also work as a basic antivirus where it detects the viruses like malwares in any of your installed apps or downloads. It will create a popup of discarding or keeping it. Mobile applications can be downloaded from anywhere like amazon, googleplay, apps store etc. There is no rigorous verification of an application when it is uploaded to the market. One can easily develop a malicious application and upload it to the app market. The user itself is responsible for accepting the risk of an app available from secondary markets.
Therefore, we have decided to develop this app to make the market more secure and bounded. In future, It will take the mobile market while consuming minimal additional resources and preserving user privacy.

In this work we consider the use of Brinkman's equation in describing viscous fluid flow through porous media, and its applicability in describing flow through layered porous media when permeability is low. While available formulations of viscous fluid flow over porous layers impose conditions of velocity and shear stress continuity at the interface between layers, the case of flow through layered media with low permeability requires a formulation that captures the low shear stress across layers. To this end, we consider a formulation of Brinkman's equation based on Williams' constitutive equations in order to take into account Brinkman's effective viscosity and how it influences the flow characteristics across the porous layers, and we derive theoretical relationships for fluid and flow quantities in composite porous layers. Keywords –William's constitutive equations, porous layers, Brinkman equation. ×

In today's world every product ranging from a safety pin to huge complex aircraft engines are all manufactured by various manufacturing techniques. It involves various processes like casting, forming, machining, welding etc. Complex machines have numerous parts and elements which may be asymmetric; irregular shaped and might have a different cross-sectional profile. Manufacturing these complex and intricate shaped components to required dimensional accuracy and good surface finish is a tough task and requires use of various processes like machining, bending etc. This induces some amount of residual stresses in the machine component, and thereby makes it more susceptible to catastrophic failure. To minimize these losses and produce irregular shaped components more efficiently, a unique sand casting process is explained in this paper which makes use of a pattern made of sublime material which when burnt, produces a hollow cavity where the molten metal is poured and the casting is performed. This method eliminates the use of additional finishing processes and gives a good surface finish to the final machine components.

In this paper, we present a Multiprecision (MP) reconfigurable multiplier that incorporates variable precision, parallel processing (PP), razor-based dynamic voltage scaling (DVS), and dedicated MP operands scheduling to provide optimum performance for a variety of operating conditions. All of the building blocks of the proposed reconfigurable multiplier can either work as independent smaller-precision multipliers or work in parallel to perform higher-precision multiplications. Given the user's requirements (e.g., throughput), a dynamic voltage/ frequency scaling management unit configures the multiplier to operate at the proper precision and frequency. Adapting to the run-time workload of the targeted application, razor flip-flops together with a dithering voltage unit then configure the multiplier to achieve the lowest power consumption. The single-switch dithering voltage unit and razor flip-flops help to reduce the voltage safety margins and overhead typically associated to DVS to the lowest level. The large silicon area and power overhead typically associated to reconfigurability features are removed. Finally, the proposed novel MP multiplier can further benefit from an operands scheduler that rearranges the input data, hence to determine the optimum voltage and frequency operating conditions for minimum power consumption. This low-power MP multiplier is fabricated in AMIS 0.35-μm technology. Experimental results show that the proposed MP design features a 28.2% and 15.8% reduction in circuit area and power consumption compared with conventional fixed-width multiplier. When combining this MP design with error-tolerant razor-based DVS, PP, and the proposed novel operands scheduler, 77.7%–86.3% total power reduction is achieved with a total silicon area overhead as low as 11.1%. Sharing of Information in a cloud environment is inevitable in onward of cloud computing environment. Security in accessing cloud information has to consider many issues such as authentication, cost, time in uploading and many other criteria. Authentication of data is must for utilizing the others data and uploading our own data has become tedious. Getting Certificate and for every access is long process and cost increases. Ring signature gives an assurance to the user to build an unidentified and accurate information sharing system. It allows a data individualistic to innominate authenticate his data which can be put into the cloud for storage or analysis purpose. In Identity-Based (ID Based ) Ring Signature Members of this cluster can easily share data avoiding the pricey certificate verification as done in the usual procedure. Forward Security re authentication overhead is avoided in Ring Signature by using RSA Algorithm we further provide increased level of security in reduced time, efficient and simple manner. Keywords:Authentication, data sharing, cloud computing, Increased Security. ×

The loss of prop pant during the flow back process in hydraulic fracturing treatments has been a problem for many years. The effectiveness of the fracture treatment is reduced. A well cleanup is often required to remove the unwanted proppant from the wellbore to re-establish production. Among several techniques available to reduce the prop pant loss, controlling flow back velocity within a critical range is an essential measure. The objective of this study is to determine the critical flow back velocity under different confining pressures in the propped fractures of different thicknesses. This objective is achieved based experimental studies conducted in a specially designed apparatus. For a fracture with a given width, the closure stress helps hold the proppant in place. This is due to the friction force that is proportional to the normal force created by the closure stress. The critical flow back velocity necessary to mobilize the proppant therefore increases with closure stress. However, the stress effect may be influenced by the shape of solid particles and friction coefficient of solid. Under the condition of constant closure stress, a narrow fracture holds proppant better than a wide fracture, resulting in increased critical flow back velocity. This is interpreted to be due to the "tighter" packing of proppant in narrow fractures.×

This paper will represent a dead time elimination scheme for sinusoidal pulse width modulation controlled inverter. Dead-time is necessary to prevent the short circuit of the power supply in PWM Inverters or converters. But, it will result in output voltage deviations and in case of lower values of current, lower order harmonics will be taken into account. So, dead time elimination is required in PWM Inverters or converters. To compensate the effect, two simple methods, which are adequate for sinusoidal pulse width modulation, helps in improving the of output voltage and reduces the harmonic distortion.Key Words:Dead time elimination, sinusoidal pulse width modulation, harmonic optimization. ×

Conventional dual-hop scheme has used the same modulation method for the source and the relays. Given that the distances between the source and the relays are close, in other words, when the quality of the source-relays link is good, the usage of higher order modulation at the source improves total system throughput. However, in opposite case, bit error probability is increased through using higher order modulation. Therefore, we propose a relay scheme that uses hierarchical modulation at the source and adaptive modulation based on the channel state at the relays. Accordingly, the symbol error rate (SER) and throughput performances are improved by the proposed scheme. Keywords - Dual-hop, Relay, Adaptive modulation, Channel state, Hierarchical modulation. ×

The goal of VANET is to establish a vehicular communication system which is reliable and fast which caters to road safety and road safety. In VANET where network fragmentation is frequent with no central control, routing becomes a challenging task. Planning an optimal routing plan for tuning parameter configuration of routing protocol for setting up VANET is very crucial. This is done by defining an optimization problem where hybridization of meta-heuristics is defined. The paper contributes the idea of combining meta-heuristic algorithm to enhance the performance of individual search method for optimization problem. Keywords - Hybridization, Meta-heuristic, Routing Protocol, VANET ×

Stress concentration is the localization of stress around stress raisers. Sudden changes in the geometry of structures give rise to stress values that are higher than those obtained by elementary equations of solid mechanics. Therefore the evaluation of stress state at such locations needs specialized techniques such as Finite Element Method (FEM).The finite element method is a numerical procedure that can be used to obtain solution to a large variety of engineering problems such as structural, thermal, heat transfer, electromagnetism and fluid flow. In the present investigation, focus has been kept on the finite element modeling and determination of stress concentration factor (SCF) in linearly elastic structures with different stress-raisers such as circular and elliptical holes and double semicircular notch at different locations in a finite plate. The results obtained from FEM are compared with those obtained by analytical relations as given in literature. A commercially available finite element solver ANSYS has been used for the modeling and analysis in the investigation. Throughout the investigation, plane82, which is an eight node two-dimensional element is used for the discretization. Keywords:Stress concentration, ANSYS, FEM, Plane 82. ×

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is the service with which IT of enterprises integrated for on-demand services. Different deployment models of cloud further makes it flexible so as to meet the requirements of users. As the customers' policies are not same, Cloud Service Provider (CSP) needs a flexible architecture to accommodate the varied requirements of customers with respect to access control. The existing access control models such as Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) have limitations. The combination of RBAC and ABAC also could not offer fine grained access control. We also studied the RBAC model offered by Open Stack and came to know its limitations in catering to diversified needs of customers. The One Size Fits for All policy cannot provide flexible access control due to the aforementioned reason. Therefore a more flexible access control model is required. In this paper we proposed a framework with Predicate Based Access Control (PBAC) in general and then implemented it in Open Stack. Our empirical results revealed that the proposed framework can improve the granularity with fine grained access control mechanism. Though our framework is at primitive stage, it shows significant step forward in access control policies for IaaS clouds.Keyword -Authorization, predicate based access control, Infrastructure as a Service, Open Stack, fine-grained access control ×

We have developed a stand alone, (river and canal water stream) floating power generator system for village electrification, agriculture water pumping, bridge street lights and such other utilities. The system is the unique one of its kind as per our knowledge and various surveys. The physical structure of the system is made of the non corrosive and unbreakable materials like mild steel, fiber glass etc. It works, as it rotates in the water flow. It does not require any kind of the external electric grid power for its working. As the water flows, the specially designed blades of the system rotate in the direction of the flow and ultimately the consistent power is generated, this power can be used directly or it may be stored in battery and the utilized as and when required. X-ray images are gray scale images with almost the same textural characteristic. Conventional texture or color features cannot be used for appropriate categorization in medical x-ray image archives. This paper presents a novel combination of methods like GLCM, LBP and HOG for extracting distinctive invariant features from Xray images belonging to IRMA (Image Retrieval in Medical applications) database that can be used to perform reliable matching between different views of an object or scene. GLCM represents the distributions of the intensities and the information about relative positions of neighboring pixels of an image. The LBP features are invariant to image scale and rotation, change in 3D viewpoint, addition of noise, and change in illumination A HOG feature vector represents local shape of an object, having edge information at plural cells. These features have been exploited in different algorithms for automatic classification of medical X-ray images. Excellent experimental results obtained in true problems of rotation invariance, particular rotation angle, demonstrate that good discrimination can be achieved with the occurrence statistics of simple rotation invariant local binary patterns. Keywords - Gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM), Local Binary Pattern (LBP), Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) ×

Bulk density, kernel density, internal friction of Soybean were measured over a moisture content range of 7.4 to 22.22%(wb). First and second order polynomial equations are given which describe the kernel density, bulk density as well as other properties' dependence on moisture content. For the grain that was tested, bulk density, kernel density and specific gravity decreased with moisture content while angle of repose, angle of internal friction and coefficient of sliding friction increased as moisture content increased. One thousand grain weight and average diameter increased with moisture content for the crop. Frictional coefficients of the crop was measured on four structural surface namely: concrete, wood, galvanized sheet metal and mild steel sheet. The values were maximum for concrete among the four surfaces. The angle of repose was found to be higher than angle of internal friction in all cases tested. These measurements are necessary in selection of the material and in determination of pressures and angles of the wall of storage structures. Keywords -Bulk density, Kernel density, Specific gravity, Internal friction, Moisture content, Physical properties. ×
