Abstract:
Currently, catfish (Clariasbatracus), catfish (Pangasius pangasius), and mujair fish (Oreochromis mossambicus) have been quite successfully cultivated, and their production is increasing. Still, there have been no efforts to process them into processed food products with high economic value. This study aims to determine the chemical, physical and organoleptic characteristics of pempek from cultivated fish surimi ingredients from catfish, catfish, and mujair fish with a comparison of tapioca flour. The results showed that surimi from catfish, catfish and mujair fish with a ratio of tapioca flour could produce pempek with specific chemical, physical, and organoleptic characteristics. The best pempek is made from a combination of mujair fish surimi and flour at a ratio of 1: 1 (S3T1), as determined by protein content, fat content, and most significant water content analyses, as well as organoleptic tests favored by panelists with physical tests against folding tests and biting tests.

Abstract:
In this research, a novel method for unified interphase power controller modification-based power flow control of grid-connected hybrid microgrids with linked AC-DC microgrids is presented (UIPC). A typical grid-connected hybrid microgrid with one AC and one DC microgrid is taken into account while analyzing a system. These microgrids are integrated using a modified UIPC rather than parallel-connected power converters. The typical UIPC structure, which employs three power converters in each phase, is changed as the first contribution of this study in order to provide power exchange control across AC-DC microgrids using a smaller number of power converters. The modified structure has a power converter for each phase, known as a line power converter (LPC), and a bus power......

The vehicle performance and stability are significantly affected by its aerodynamic properties. Nowadays, the main target of automotive industry is achieving higher vehicle speed or fuel economy. The flow field around a vehicle is complex and characterized by separation which imposes more detailed design procedure to develop a vehicle fulfilling the main objectives. Larger part of the total road resistance arises from the drag thus much scope is left for improving aerodynamic performance by reducing drag force. The same applies for a racing car which requires as better as possible aerodynamic performance at different speed. In this paper, numerical investigation of air flow around....

Being able to communicate effectively is perhaps the most important of all life skills. An AI-based platform is essential for honing your communication skills remotely. Many alternatives to this are available online, most notably BigInterview but almost all are hidden behind a paywall and/or are oriented towards interviewers. Hence these systems restrict themselves to only specific questions that the users must answer to, however, our system aims to simply analyze the speech of the user no matter what he/she may be speaking. In other words, the content of the speech does not matter. Our system aims to use all three aspects: Video, Audio and Text for analysis. Feedback is presented to the user in a web page along with a report that can be downloaded. Resources are also provided to the user to help with honing said communication skills, available on a separate page..

Abstract:
Seven-hole probes are a common and accurate way to measure the flow in wind tunnels. Unfortunately, these devices are expensive, require computationally expensive post-processing and are slow to collect data. Pitot rakes are a viable alternative to measure flow, provided that the angle between the direction of flow and the rake is small. The manufacture of a low-cost pitot rake will be outlined herein. It was made from easily available metal tubing and 3D printed components, costing a fraction of a standard seven-hole probe. It is shown, that the pitot rake is capable of taking similar measurements to the seven-hole probe at eight times the speed.

Abstract:
The Sun and the Jupiter both astronomical objects emit radiation in radio frequencies and have much importance in the Earth's atmosphere. We have recorded data of both Solar and Jovian signal on NASA's Radio Jove instrument at 20.1 MHz. The simultaneous visibility of the two objects the Sun and the Jupiter is of much importance in this study. In this paper, we have done the comparison using the Jove receiving system on those dates especially when the Jupiter rises at nighttime. It shows that the intensity of solar radio emission is well above Jovian emission intensity. It has been observed that solar radio bursts are stronger than Jovian bursts. They occur usually when there are sunspots on the visible corona while Jupiter noise storms are more likely to occur at nighttime and so they are much prominently recorded.

Abstract:
Compressibility of a soil mass is its susceptibility to decrease in volume under pressure and is indicated by soil characteristics like coefficient of compressibility, compression index and coefficient of consolidation. It is one of the most important engineering properties of soils and is used for the determination of rate of settlement and total amount of settlement of soil masses. However, the determination of soil compressibility characteristics in the laboratory is a cumbersome and time consuming process. On the other hand, determination of soil index properties such as particle sizes, Atterberg Limits etc. is relatively simpler and less time consuming. There are several existing models in literature which predict the compressibility characteristics of soils as a function of its index properties......

Abstract:
In this present study, the analysis of free vibration and stability of axially functionally graded non-uniform fluid-conveying pipes and resting on a two-parameter foundation, such as Pasternak foundation under various sets of boundary conditions namely Clamped-clamped, Clamped-pinned, Pinned-pinned is carried out. An approach known as Variational Iteration Method (VIM) is used to carry out the analysis. The present study assumes that each of the Youngbe modulus, material density, cross sectional area, moment of inertia of the pipe and foundation parameters varies along the pipe axis. Natural frequencies and critical flow velocities are obtained for various classical end conditions. Also, influence of various parameters namely mass ratio, foundation stifnesses, non-uniformity terms and non-homogeneous materials on the natural frequencies and critical flow velocities of the present work is examined and the findings are presented. The obtained solutions are compared with some available results in the literature and very good agreements are observed. These new results will also serve as a benchmark for subsequent researchers.
